Well John, I am finally doing my homework like I said I would. I was delayed because I couldn't really come up with anything that proved my point that the Whitman Body Works management isn't all THAT perfect. I really dont have a problem with doing any of my jobs in the manner you describe, obviously you do know what you are doing a hell of alot better than I do, and I do respect that. One thing I dont agree with is the manner with which you handle differences that need to be resolved. The other day, I was trying to make a point that I felt somewhat justified in making, and you made me feel like an idiot who wasn't even fit to think. One mistake many managers make is thinking they have to think for the other workers, while this has worked somewhat well in the past, it is being replaced by a better method of guiding the worker. The beauty of having humans work for you is not that they will do what you say, but they will learn and begin to think on their own, in the direction you show them. This is a very good thing to achieve to, as when someone can do what you want them to without you telling them to, then that is one less worry off your mind. I would like you to know I appreciate the fact you finally did listen to me, and together we made an agreement, that is why I am here on time today, and will make a sincere effort to get here on time every morning, and only take a half hour lunch. You gave me the respect I deserved, you treated me like someone who does try to think for the better, and so I will therefore treat you with due respect.
