A little while ago I received a piece of mail, that had been sent, but
did not have the stamps marked in transit. The envelope had two forever
stamps, and a $1 stamp on it, which I removed and placed in my drawer
to use at a later date.I really love the image on the $1 stamp. It looks like Zeus sitting on Mt. Olympus, it's really beautiful, which means I don't want to send it to anyone.
Stamps are quite a personal thing. Before the forever stamps came out I use to choose the images on my stamps for bills and letters very carefully. It was part of the fun of sending mail, now of course I regret sending all my superhero stamps in the mail, and wish I had a sheet in a sleeve somewhere.
