I tried La Madeleine again but I still couldn't go there. For whatever reason, the place just didn't welcome me in.

Instead, today I went to Bagel City. I'll definitely be back, though I will never again order a blueberry bagel:

That is most definitely not a blueberry bagel! Its more like a blue-colored sugar glob bagel. Thankfully, the everything and pumpernickel bagels I bought were great:

Anyway, the bagels are $0.80 a piece, a better price than Bethesda Bagels where they are $1.10 / bagel. And they have whitefish salad - I'll have to try that!

Furthermore, they are very kid friendly. They have highchairs and when I was walking in, there were several families with kids walking out. Therefore, I'll bring my 17 month old daughter there.
